Jere Hietala is a well-known photographer, TV documentary maker, and private security contractor.
During his thirteen years as a photographer, he has worked with clientele such as 71st Counter Terrorism Battalion, 101st Special Forces (JORSOF), KASOTC, Finnish Defence Forces (FDF), Finnish Border Guard 5th Special Intervention Unit, SAKO, Boomeranger boats and many more.
He has received over 20 awards and honors both domestically and internationally.
Jere is a private security contractor. He has worked on commissions internationally, e.g. In Iraq, Saudi Arabia and in various European countries. Jere Hietala has worked under the Finnish Defense Forces in an operation, and also works as a firearms instructor.
He has undergone various different private security courses, such as: CPO, MSO, FPOS, etc. He has extensive know-how in advanced intelligence photography.
Jere is a conservationist, ferociously fighting against poaching with his newly established NGO Anti-Poaching Association of Finland, which has been widely noticed by media, for whom Jere has done a lot of public interviews and appearances. The latest achievement is a TV-documentary series, which carries his name “Jere Hietala-On the trail of poachers”.
